“Enthusiasts come every day throughout the region to make use of our parks and open spaces. On sunny weekends, each green spot or friendly trail in our town (and we are fortunate to have many!) is completely filled with people recreating from all over the county. Because River’s Edge Park is, quite truly, an empty lot, it is an open canvas to develop a destination space and another jewel on the crown of the rich park system we have in Carnation. It’s a rare opportunity for thoughtfulness to make it a differentiated addition to the distinctiveness of our other parks.”
